Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lexbill website and newsletter, operated by Lexbill LLC ("Lexbill," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting the site or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Lexbill is a subscription newsletter providing news, analysis and commentary about artificial intelligence and related topics. We offer paid membership tiers ("Premium" and "Ultra") with the content and benefits described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to subscribe. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate.
3. Purchases and payment
Paid memberships are arranged directly with our team. When you select a plan on our site, you will be prompted to contact us at info@lexbill.fyi to complete your purchase. Pricing, terms and any promotional discounts are as communicated at the time of purchase. We do not store payment card details on this website.
4. Billing and renewals
Membership terms (1 month, 3 months or 12 months) and their pricing are set out at the time you subscribe. Any renewal arrangements will be communicated to you directly. Promotional or launch pricing applies only to the term purchased and may differ on renewal.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel at any time by emailing info@lexbill.fyi. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the term you have paid for.
- If you are not satisfied, we offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. Email us and we will arrange it.
- Later terms are non-refundable except where required by law. Refund requests outside the 14-day window are considered case by case.
- If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting your subscription you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that this right ends once delivery begins, without prejudice to our 14-day refund offer above.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute or republish our content without written permission;
- share paid subscriber content with non-subscribers, including by forwarding issues in bulk;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
7. Intellectual property
All content in the newsletter and on the website, including text, analysis, branding and design, is owned by Lexbill LLC or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read the content for your own use. No other rights are granted. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome.
8. No professional advice
Our content is general information and opinion. It is not financial, investment, legal or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or asset. Decisions you make based on our content are your own. Consult a qualified professional before acting.
9. Third-party links and services
Our content may link to third-party sites, tools or products. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lexbill LLC and its members, officers and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Lexbill LLC against claims, losses or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Where the breach is not serious we will warn you first. If we end your subscription for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of the current period.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, except where consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
